![]() ![]() Frostbite forces a target to make a Constitution saving throw, and if they fail they take cold damage and it has disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of it's next turn. Ray of Frost lets you make a ranged spell attack, and on a hit is deals cold damage and slows the target's movement speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. Message allows you to communicate in a whisper to an ally nearby, so you can discreetly give them orders. And now it's time for the Spellcasting feature, which grants us four cantrips and 2 first level spells. But it also increases our hit point maximum by 1 in addition to what we rolled for HP. but our Dexterity is terrible and we wear armor anyway so this is kinda pointless, especially when the armor provides much better AC. Either way, we have an affinity for cold damage, which will make more sense later since water isn't really a choice (you can also pick acid as an option since it's a burning liquid, but cold has a better range of spells to choose from in general) We also get our Draconic Resilience, granting us an AC of 13 + our Dexterity modifier when we aren't wearing armor. Specifically we are a Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer, and we'll go with a silver dragon for our source, since white dragons tend to be a bit more vicious than Corrin is. I'd pick Cartographer's kit so you can study maps and get a decent idea of the land you intend to fight on.ħ: We're bouncing over to Sorcerer now. We also get Student of War, giving us proficiency in any artisan's tool of our choice. Our maneuvers superiority die are four d8s, and we expend one with each maneuver we do, and regain them when we finish a short or long rest (and we have an extra d6 in the mix thanks to Martial Adept). Lastly, Trip Attack forces a target to contest an Attack roll + superiority die roll with a Strength check, and if the target fails and is Large or smaller it is knocked prone, rife for extra punishment. Riposte lets you use your reaction when a creature misses you with a melee attack, allowing you to spend a superiority die to make a melee attack, and if you hit you get to add your superiority die to the damage (think of this as your Dragon Surge counter). We get Combat Maneuvers, learning three maneuvers from the Battle Master list: Rally allows you to expend a superiority die to bolster an ally, giving them temporary HP equal to our superiority die roll + our Charisma modifier. However, choosing between Hoshido and Nohr may actually not be the hardest choice. After several sleepless nights, it can be said that these installments are some of the best in series, revolving around two royal families at war with one another and the decision of the main character on which path to choose. Fire Emblem Fates, the newest installment of the strategy RPG Nintendo franchise, has been an absolute success during its first week of launch.
